MMU Solan Admission Process
MBBS Admission
MBBS admission to MMMCH Solan requires a valid NEET UG score. The minimum eligibility is Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) with a minimum of 50% aggregate (40% for SC/ST/OBC). Candidates must also be 17 years of age or above on December 31 of the admission year.
Of the 150 MBBS seats, 25% (38 seats) are under HP state quota, filled through HP DME counselling. The remaining 75% (112 seats) are management quota seats filled directly by the institution. The state quota NEET UG closing rank at MMMCH Solan was in the range of 94,421 to 111,899 for the General category in 2024. Management quota closing ranks are significantly higher (6 lakh to 8 lakh range for General category), given the direct institutional admission process at a higher fee.
MD/MS Admission
MD/MS admissions require a valid NEET PG score and MBBS registration with the Medical Council. HP state counselling allocates state quota seats based on NEET PG merit. Management quota seats are filled by the institution. Candidates must complete MBBS and their compulsory rotating internship before PG admission. High-demand specialisations like Radiodiagnosis, Dermatology, and General Surgery have higher NEET PG cutoffs even in private colleges.
Allied Health Admissions
B.Sc Nursing, BPT, B.Sc MLT, B.Sc Radiology, and GNM admissions are based on NEET UG score (for HP state counselling) or on direct merit in Class 12 PCB marks for management quota. Minimum eligibility is Class 12 PCB with 45% aggregate. GNM requires Class 12 pass with English as a compulsory subject.
