IIT Kharagpur Placement 2026: Highest Package, Average Package, Top Recruiters

The placements at IIT Kharagpur’s law school are good. In 2023, the LLM graduates of IIT Kharagpur were offered 100% placements at a median package of INR 12 LPA. On the other hand, 92.5% students were successfully placed from the LLB program of IIT Kharagpur in 2023, at a median package of INR 9 LPA.

The highest stipend offered in MHRM summer internships 2024 is INR 2.12 Lakhs, while the average stipend is INR 1.15 Lakhs.

IIT Kharagpur does not offer Research Internships to outside students. 

But eight weeks of summer practical training (at the end of 3rd Year of B Tech / B.S, 4th Year of M Tech Dual Degree, 4th Year of 5 year Integrated MSc Course, 1st year of M.Tech) is a compulsory part of the curriculum at IIT Kharagpur, carrying 2/4 credits. 

I am a final year B.Tech student at IIT KGP. Here is the official data released by the institution on the 2023 placement drive-

• The 2023 batch placement drive at IIT KGP concluded with 1600 offers, out of which, 45 were international offers. 
• The highest package offered during the 2023 placement drive was INR 2.6 CPA.
• The MBA placement 2023 had the highest CTC reaching INR 43.37 LPA, an average CTC of INR 22.13 LPA.

In 2023, the average salary was around INR 43.37 LPA per annum, while the highest domestic placement package reached INR 30 lakh per annum.
