The institute also provides extensive internship opportunities, with some companies offering stipends up to 1 lakh. For one year, the total fee at IIT Jodhpur, covering hostel expenses, is Rs. 128,000 for general category students. SC and ST students receive an exemption from tuition fees. M.Tech students with a GATE qualification receive a monthly assistantship of Rs. 12,500, whereas those without GATE can earn Rs. 6,000 by assisting professors.
