Ans. IIT Dharwad offers BS-MS in interdisciplinary sciences for a duration of 5 years. It is a dual degree program with an exit option after 4 years with a BS degree majoring in one of the four science disciplines: Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics. The program provides knowledge in basic sciences and engineering and aligns with the recommendations of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
Apart from getting a Major degree, students can obtain an additional Minor degree offered by the Institute. Students from Engineering disciplines must complete around 30 extra credits.
