VIT-AP University Admission Dates 2026

Admissions to the 2026-27 academic session have concluded across all programmes. B.Tech admission was anchored by VITEEE 2026, with counselling and seat allotment completed in May to June 2026. The table below captures the concluded 2026-27 cycle timeline.

VIT-AP University Courses and Fees

VIT-AP University offers over 40 programmes at UG, PG, integrated, dual-degree, and doctoral levels. Annual fees vary significantly by discipline, with engineering programmes at the higher end and science and commerce programmes at the lower end.

B.Tech remains the flagship, with specialisations in AI/ML, Cyber Security, Data Analytics, Blockchain, Robotics, VLSI, and Automotive Design setting it apart from conventional CSE-only offerings.

VIT-AP University Admission Process

B.Tech Admission

B.Tech admission is driven by VITEEE score for the majority of seats. Eligibility criteria are as follows:

• Completion of 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics
• Minimum 60% aggregate marks in PCM (50% for SC/ST category candidates)
• Valid VITEEE score, or JEE Main score, or AP EAMCET rank

The selection process follows these stages: VITEEE registration and slot booking, exam, rank generation, online counselling, choice filling, seat allotment, document verification, and admission confirmation. 65% of seats are filled through VITEEE and 35% through AP EAMCET.

Cutoff VITEEE rank for popular B.Tech specialisations such as CSE and AI/ML typically falls in the 1 to 50,000 rank range for general category. AP EAMCET cutoff for CSE varies between rank 5,000 and 20,000 depending on specialisation and category.

MBA Admission

MBA eligibility requires a recognised UG degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. A valid CAT, XAT, MAT, GMAT, or CMAT score is mandatory for Indian applicants.

Selection involves shortlisting on entrance scores, followed by a Group Discussion and Personal Interview round conducted by VIT-AP. Final admission is based on a composite score.

BBA, BA+LLB, and BBA+LLB Admission

BBA requires 10+2 in any stream with at least 50% aggregate marks. Admission is through CUET UG score or direct merit on board performance.

Law programmes (BA+LLB, BBA+LLB) require 10+2 with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks. Admission is based on CLAT rank, CUET UG score, or institutional entrance test merit.

M.Sc and PhD Admission

M.Sc applicants need a relevant UG degree with 60% aggregate marks. Selection is through CUET PG score or merit in the qualifying degree. PhD applicants must hold a relevant PG degree with 55% marks and clear the VITEEE Research Entrance Test (VRET), or hold a valid UGC NET or GATE score.

VIT-AP University Placements

VIT-AP University placements for the 2025 batch recorded strong numbers across engineering and management programmes. A total of 12,571 offers were made by 620 companies, placing 10,025 students across multiple sectors. The highest offer stood at INR 96.26 LPA and the average CTC was INR 14.43 LPA.
