Ques. What is the advantage of B.Tech Lateral entry over regular B.Tech for diploma holders?
Ans. B.Tech Lateral entry allows diploma holders to join directly in the second year, completing their B.Tech degree in 3 years instead of 4 years. This saves one year of study and associated costs while providing the same quality education and degree. Lateral entry students study advanced topics from the second year onwards, making the curriculum more focused and industry-relevant. Additionally, they can start their careers one year earlier than regular B.Tech graduates.
Ques. Which diploma branches are eligible for B.Tech (Lateral) Electronics & Communication Engineering?
