RCU Palamu Ph.D Engineering: Fees 2026, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

Ans. Total fees for the minimum three-year Ph.D. programme in Engineering are INR 3,81,000, comprising annual tuition of INR 1,00,000, examination fees of INR 10,000 per semester, and one-time charges of INR 21,000 (prospectus, admission, and registration fees).

Ans. Research scholars at RCU can pursue doctoral work in Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering through the Faculty of Engineering at Bishrampur campus.

Ans. GATE is not mandatory but GATE-qualified candidates receive preference during the selection process and may be given relaxation in the university’s own PhD entrance test. Non-GATE candidates must appear in and clear the university’s PhD entrance test.
