The college's law course features a mixed faculty experience and a structured academic evaluation system with two mid-terms, each worth 30 marks per subject, and a comprehensive 100-mark End Semester exam. Courses are categorized into full credit (4 credits) and half credit (2 credits), and a CGPA below 5 can result in a year back. Students have a chance to retake exams in the summer if needed. Placements are uncommon, as graduates often opt for district court work or judicial exams.
However, students can gain practical experience through internships, like the 25-day program with the District Legal Service Authority (DLSA), which includes observing court proceedings and project work. Completion of these internships leads to certification and report submission. The annual fee is 86,000 for the first two years, with an additional 71,000 for hostel accommodation. A scholarship is available in the second year through DLSA. The college also aids in connecting students with experienced lawyers for practical work exposure.
