Clemson University has been offering world-class research outputs that have positively impacted the lives of students, faculty members, industries and the community at large. The institute offers a variety of undergraduate and graduate programs and admission is open to local and international applicants and teaching is offered through the seven colleges of the university.

It is one of the top institutes to study in the USA and has an undergraduate student population of more than 20,000 students. Clemson University: International Students Admission

The programs offered at Clemson University are in different areas of specializations and are open to applicants from different parts of the world. English Proficiency Test Scores

One of the requirements for international applicants is the submission of English proficiency tests or exams such as SAT, ACT, TOEFL, Duolingo and IELTS. The minimum requirements/scores for the English proficiency tests are outlined below.

Visa Process for International Students

After an admission offer is given and accepted, it is vital for international applicants to apply for student Visa to Study in the USA. The required form is mostly given to successful applicants through postal service. Questions regarding the visa application process and any other question can be directed to the Admission Office. Applicant should prepare the following documents for visa application:

  • Valid International Passport
  • Visa
  • Medical Health Insurance Coverage and Verification Form
  • I-94 Form
  • Phone Number and Address in United States
  • Original I-20 Form of DS-2019 (J-1 Visa Certificate)
  • Payment Receipt for I-901 Fee Payment

After the completion and submission of all the necessary documents, the applicant can prepare and schedule an interview for the visa application process. Students should also prepare for the interview to have a positive result. Forms I-20 and DS2019 are normally completed by the Office of International Services by July 1, October 15, and April 1 for registration in the fall, spring and summer semesters, respectively.

Clemson University: Undergraduate Admission

Clemson University has more than 80 undergraduate programs. There is a variety of undergraduate programs (degree or exchange study) at Clemson University. Clemson University offers more than 110 graduate programs and applicants can choose from any of the programs. The graduate programs are subdivided into course-based (or Master’s program) and (research-based) PhD programs. There are course-based and research-based programs in different majors at Clemson University. Some of the programs have online learning options.
