Ohio Dominican University (OUD) offered admissions to 52.7% of students during the year 2016-17 in fall, spring and summer. Nearly 1714 freshmen enrolled in Fall 2017 out of which 1177 were undergraduate, 84 undergraduate transfer-in and 537 graduate students.

Academic Requirements:

Following are the academic requirements for international students who aspire to take admission for the undergraduate programs at the University-

  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher recommended for admission.
  • Lower than GPA 3.0 is considered for conditional admission.

Ohio Dominican University Undergraduate Admissions

Ohio Dominican University offers more than 40 undergraduate courses.

Students can apply through Traditional and test-optional criteria. Freshmen need to meet some requirements in order to get admission in the university which is enlisted below-

Traditional Admissions

  • In traditional admission, students need to submit high school transcripts.
  • The minimum GPA requirement for admission is 3.0. Students getting below 3.0 GPA will be admitted conditionally.
  • Students must attain a composite score of 18 in the ACT and 940 or higher in SAT.

Test Optional Admissions

  • Applicants need not submit ACT/SAT scores
  • Official transcripts are required at the time of admission.
  • The minimum cumulative GPA requirement for admission is 2.7 or higher.

Transfer Students

Ohio Dominican University Admissions for transfer students can be done throughout the year, as the university runs under the rolling admission policy.

  • Transfer students have to submit their previous college transcripts for seeking admission to the university.
  • Transcripts can be sent through email, fax or mail.
  • Students who have attained less than 24 transfer semester credit hours have to submit official high school transcripts along with other supporting documents.
  • Admission decisions come out within a few weeks of submitting the application.
