Apart from a few additional requirements, the admission process for international students is similar to that of domestic applicants. These additional requirements are discussed below in detail:-

  • Submission of secondary and post-secondary academic records from all the previous universities and institutions attended as well as official evaluations approved by the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services.
  • Submission of Financial Support Statement with supporting documentation such as bank statements, employer sponsorship letter, or scholarship/fellowship/assistantship letter.
  • Proof of English proficiency for non-native English speakers.
  • It is mandatory to send a copy of all printed sides of the current I-20 or DS-2019 if the candidate is already in the United States.

English Proficiency Tests

It is mandatory for international students who are non-native speakers of the English language to take at least one of the exams mentioned below. The cut off criterion of these exams are mentioned below in the given table:-

Visa Process

Those who are offered admission will be provided with an application for Student (F-1) Status [Form I-20] along with instructions regarding entry into the U.S. change of status (if necessary), and new student orientation (fall semester only).

The university provides 21 masters programs to fit the interests of all the students. Out of these courses, the highest enrolled academic programs are business management, biology, psychology, exercise science, nursing and criminal justice.
