Nova South-Eastern University is a private research university located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The university was founded in 1964 as a small college originally named Nova University of Advanced technology which merged with Southeastern University of Health Sciences to form Nova South-Eastern University.

The university offers several undergraduate, graduate, and professional degree programs in its 8 regional campuses. Currently, NSU has a strength of approx. 24,000 students and 172,000 alumni.

Campus Housing Facility at Nova Southeastern University

Fort Lauderdale/Davie campus is the main campus of NSU's which covers approx. 314-acre and is located 10-minutes away from Fort Lauderdale/ Hollywood International airport. NSU has 8 regional campuses across Florida and Puerto Rico.

For residence, residence halls, 1 apartments, living centers and Rolling Hills building A and C are provided for the students.

Nova Southeastern University Admission Process

Pre-Requisites for Admission into Nova Southeastern University–

  • Official transcripts
  • Letter of recommendations
  • SAT/ACT score for UG students
  • GRE/ GMAT score for Graduate students
  • Test scores: SAT/ACT for UG students; GRE/GMAT for graduate students
  • TOEFL, ELTS, PTE, or iTep score
  • Proof of graduation(Undergraduate)

Freshman applicants can apply in any of the following two ways:

  • The Common Applicants

To apply for admission, applicants must visit the official website of the university.

Undergraduate students shall pay non-refundable application fee of $50 and submit the form on or before the stipulated date.

Scholarships and Financial Aid offered by Nova Southeastern University

NSU’s Office of Student Financial Assistance (OFSA) administers federal, state, and university financial aid programs. The average scholarship amount disbursed for the first year students is around 25, 024 USD. About 100% new students can get the scholarship and grants.

To apply for the scholarship, it is mandatory to complete Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online, once it is done use the FSA ID to apply for NSU Scholarship.

  • FAFSA is made available every October 1
  • Priority deadline for NSU Scholarship is April 15
  • Institutional scholarships are available in the month of March and have deadlines in May-June.
