California State University Admission 2020-2021, Requirement, Deadline & Acceptance Rate

Updated By : SUPRIYA SARKAR

The California State University (CSU) follows a high-standard review process for selecting its prospective students, wherein the standards followed are often much higher than the minimum scores set for admission.

An acceptance rate of 46% makes the admission procedure moderately difficult at California State University. Getting into the university won't be difficult if the applicants focus on their GPA and standardized test scores.

The University sets the Eligibility Index Requirements only after the end of the priority application process, which ensures that a fair review process is followed. The Eligibility Index is formulated based on:

  • GPA
  • SAT scores
  • Total number of applications received
  • Competitiveness among the applicants
  • Number of available seats
