Rowan University International Admissions 

The admission process for international applicants is the same as that for US applicants. However, international applicants have to meet additional requirements. Also, they have to carefully review their visa process.

Admission Requirements for International Students

  • Official transcript copy and a certified English translation
  • Letter of recommendation
  • Scanned copy of IELTS, PTE, and TOEFL
  • GRE/GMAT exam scores as per the program requirement.
  • Departmental requirements: In addition to the general admission requirements, some departments require a separate departmental application, portfolio, audition or interview.
  • For Engineering majors: SAT or ACT scores (for freshman student)
  • For Performing and Creative Arts majors: An Audition or Portfolio review (for freshman students)

Visa Process for International Applicants

  • After submitting the university application complete the I-20 application.
  • Mail the completed I-20 application to the International Center along with with a copy of passport, proof of financial resources (bank statement/ scholarship letter), and Sponsor’s proof of annual income (tax return or letter from employer)
  • Pay the I-901 SEVIS fee
  • Now apply for visa F-1 or J-1 student visa and pay the application fee
  • Schedule and attend the visa interview
