Campus

  • The Quinnipiac University has 3 campuses in Hamden, North Haven and Connecticut which comprise of the 8 distinct professional schools.
  • There are 146 student run organizations on campus related to academic and honor societies, arts, entertainment, culture, faith-based, political and advocacy, recreation and service groups.
  • All the 3 campuses are equipped with recreation centers and fitness facilities that provide yoga, spinning and cardio fitness.
  • Recreational facilities for outdoor sports include basketball courts, sand volleyball courts, grass fields and tennis courts.

Housing Facilities/Residence

  • There are both on-campus and off-campus housing facilities available for students. Almost 4800 students choose to live in university-owned housing.
  • Housing options provided by the University include traditional style residence halls, suites, apartments and houses at off-campus locations.
  • The University imposes no compulsion on students to live on campus. Yet 94% of first year students prefer to live on campus.
  • Each residence option has its different amenities. Students are also provided with a wide option of food and dining plans on every campus.
  • Irrespective of the housing option that the student selects, campus laundry facility, furnished amenities, living units, daily maintenance, roommate selection and 24 hour emergency services are common facilities.

Courses

The institute offers a plethora of courses for international students across its 8 professional schools within the University that provide programs in different disciplines at various levels. These include College of Arts and Sciences, School of Business, School of Communication, School of Education, School of Engineering, School of Health Sciences, School of Law, School of Medicine and School of Nursing.

The University offers undergraduate, graduate, dual-degree as well as online programs. Students get the option to choose from more than 100 degree programs: 55 UG majors, 48 UG Minors, 20 dual-degree programs, 34 graduate degrees.

Some distinct programs offered by the university are 3+3 BA/ JD, 3+1 BS/ MBA, 6 year DPT and online programs. The average class size is 20 students taught in a student-faculty ratio of 16:1.
