Founded in 1925, Southeastern Louisiana University is a state-funded, public institute located in Hammond, Louisiana. With nearly 15,000 students attending the institute, it is the third-largest university in the state of Louisiana.

Financial Aid

  • Two types of financial aid are given at SLU: Federal (Federal & State Grants, Work-Study, & Educational Loans) and Scholarships.
  • In the academic year 2016-2017, SLU spent $6 million on institutional scholarships.
