Admission Requirements

  • Submit your TOEFL scores as proof of English Proficiency.
  • An affidavit of financial support and supporting documentation.
  • It is mandatory for all international students to purchase health insurance through Northwest University.

English Proficiency Requirements

It is compulsory for non-native English speaker students to fulfill the minimum criteria of English Proficiency test in order to secure admission in any US university. International students must submit TOEFL score from an exam taken not more than six months prior to the admission application.

Visa & Immigration Process

International students who wish to study in the United States must obtain a F-1 visa. The step by step procedure is given below:-

  • Apply for the university and receive its acceptance.
  • Submit the Application Form for a Visa.
  • Fix an appointment to visit the U.S. Embassy or Consulate.
  • The following documents will be required:-
    • Copy of a valid passport
    • A completed application form
    • An acceptance letter
    • Proof of payment for all required fees
    • A valid I-20
    • Submit all documents demonstrating the student’s ability to meet the financial requirements to study in the United States such as bank statements, loan approvals, scholarship letters, or financial support from a U.S. sponsor
  • After the interview, the visa will be issued within a few weeks.
