The University has more than 10 residential halls where the students and the staff both reside. Approximately 93% of first-year students stay on campus. Angell, Coate, Hutchison, and Drake are cube style halls, Laux, Sanford, Wentz, and White are wing style halls, Reuter is an apartment-style and Eagle is a suite-style residential hall. Centennial Hall is the largest academic building on campus. A single residential hall has the capacity to provide housing to 500 students. All residences provide basic facilities like furniture, beds, fans and some of the comforts and luxuries like refrigerators, TVs are provided at a nominal additional cost. Two of the residential halls are air-conditioned also.
The university has a huge campus of 125 acres with very limited vehicular traffic. The campus is famous for its landscaping and locale. Located in the heart of UWL, Hoeschler Tower is the focal point of the campus and a popular destination and meeting place for students. It is also the site for many university and student events, such as concerts, memorial services, and the traditional hanging of the lantern.
The Campus houses a high-quality recreational Center that allows students and staff to work out, take classes like Zumba, cycling, yoga, etc. which help them in remaining fit too. UWL provides on-campus housing, library, health center, science center, and recreational facilities on campus too.
The Campus also has facilities where students can rent the books for their semesters that help in reducing costs significantly.
