Silicon valley is the global technology hub and many notable companies like Google, Facebook, Apple, Cisco, PayPal are headquartered there. It is also the home for thousands of startups. I wanted to be part of these tech giants in Silicon valley. After chatting with friends and relatives in united states, I got a strong feeling that studying in California might have a slight advantage in terms of job prospects and so was in search for admissions in the top universities in California. University of Southern California(from here on referred as USC) is well reputed and is one of the top private universities in California. USC has a good ranking in Computer Science. It also has great alumni network.

    Course Curriculum :

There are only couple of mandatory courses that you have to finish and the rest all are electives. So there are a very wide range of courses to chose from for electives and students pick courses based on their interests. Some courses like Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence have a very high demand and hundreds of students take them and there are new courses that are introduced every semester based on new technologies in the industry. Overall I think there are lot of good courses.

Two of my sisters have done their Masters from this university and they were placed in a very good company, therefore, my father insisted me to take admission here. After researching a bit, I paid an application fee of $90 and applied through the online portal of the college.

    Course Curriculum :

In my course, I was taught about computers from a very basic to an advanced level. I was taught about the languages like Python, Java, and algorithms.

university of southern california is among the top universities for its computer science program so it became an obvious choice for me. It has renowned faculty, great curriculum and is located in the city which is beneficial in terms of networking. Located in California, companies find it easier to interview students and also makes it easier for the students to find jobs.

    Course Curriculum :

The course curriculum is very impressive. I never knew I will appreciate studying a course in depth so much but the way the courses are structured, the assignments, the examinations, everything makes you learn the material very easily and thoroughly. You will be able to retain the studied material for a much longer time because you are forced to understand the topics instead of a rote mode of learning.
