International Students Application Deadlines

Undergraduate international students have no definite deadlines as the time needed for processing the visa application and making travel arrangements vary for each student. However, it is highly recommended that international candidates submit their application for admission three months prior to the beginning of the semester that they want to join in.

Graduate international students are required to submit their application for admission and be accepted by the following deadlines:

Liberty University Resident Undergraduate Admissions

Liberty University offers more than 200 on-campus undergraduate programs through 13 schools and colleges.

Admission process for entrance to any of these undergraduate programs can broadly be divided into the following steps:

  • Apply Online: Candidates can apply online through the university website. All necessary documents such as the admission essay, high school transcripts, official test scores need to be mailed electronically to the university. Application fee of $25 has to be paid.
  • Create myLU account: This will provide access to features necessary for further admission processes at Liberty University.
  • Accept: After receiving the documents and a completed application, the university will provide an admission decision. Accept your admission by submitting a confirmation deposit of $250.
  • Complete Assessment & Submit FAFSA: In order to register for classes at Liberty, all candidates need to complete a math and English assessment test. Students who have already transferred mathematics or English college credits do not need to take the assessment tests.
  • Select Campus Housing & Complete Financial Check-In: Use your ASIST (Automated Student Information Services Tool)to complete vehicle registration and other necessary processes.
  • Register for Courses: Register for the desired courses using your ASIST account. Candidates must select at least 12 credit hours to retain their financial aid.
