Dakota State University(DSU) is a public university, located in Madison, South Dakota. The university received 1,056 applications for fall 2018. The acceptance rate for this semester was 83%. It offers 45 majors at the undergraduate level including cyber operations, respiratory care etc and also has a robust graduate program. The academic sessions begin in the Fall and Spring seasons with a few courses in Summer.

International students have to submit proof of 2 MMR immunizations and a copy of their passport along with a financial sheet and proof of funding. After the student is selected for admission and all financial documents verified the university will email the Certificate of Eligibility for a Student Visa (Form I-20 A/B). After payment of SEVIS-fee, the applicant must schedule the visa interview with the US embassy.
