Belmont University International Admissions

The admissions process of national and international students is the same. The requirements for the two vary. International applicants are required to submit additional documents and score, like ELP for completion of the admissions process.

Admission Requirements for International Students

  • Official high school transcripts.
    • The evaluation of the international high school transcripts.
    • Only the evaluation done by a NACES accredited company will be accepted.
  • The official SAT-1 or ACT score reports should be sent directly to the Belmont.
  • The letter of recommendation has to be submitted to the appropriate person.
  • The TOEFL/IELTS scores are also necessary.

Visa Process for International Students

  • Followed by acceptance at the university, one should contact Shauna Sergent, Assistant Director of International Students and Scholars Services at Belmont to get an I-20. The sponsor's statement required for visa process is provided by the AD International Students and Scholars.
  • Ms. Sergent issues an I-20 form after the Belmont University receives the student’s $3,000 which is non-refundable enrollment deposit.
  • After receiving the receipt of I-20.
