Yeshiva University International Admissions

At Yeshiva University, international applicants have to meet additional requirements. International applicants must check the pre-admission requirements given below:

Admission Requirements

  • Transcript or diplomas from all the previously attended institution(s)
    • must be sent directly to the university’s admission office.
  • All the documents which are not in English or Hebrew must be accompanied by certified English translations.
  • Personal Essays highlighting career goals and aspirations
  • Academic or professional letters of recommendation
  • Standardized exams, as per course requirement
  • English proficiency test scores for non-native English speakers

English Proficiency Test Score for International Students

International Applicants whose primary language is not English, are required to demonstrate proficiency in the English language. For this, the undergraduate and graduate applicants can submit the following scores:

I-20 Application Requirements

Upon admission, international applicants will be issued the I-20 application. Applicants are required to provide the following documents to receive the I-20 application:

  • Copy of YU admission letter
  • Copy of valid passport
  • Financial documents/ bank statements
  • Sponsor letter, if applicable

Once the applicants successfully submit the I-20 application, they can proceed to pay the required fee and apply for the F-1 visa.

Yeshiva University Undergraduate Admissions

Yeshiva University offers undergraduate programs in more than 20 academic areas. The general application process and requirements for most of these programs are the same. Applicants are advised to carefully check all the detail before applying.
