SFC International Admissions

Applicants who are not US citizens or U.S permanent residence can also apply to St. Francis college as an international applicant. SFC provides both undergraduates and graduate programs for international applicants. the university enrolled 97 international students in 2019.

International Undergraduate Admissions

Application portal: International applicants can apply online from the official site of the university.

Academic requirements: University considers translated transcripts from high school, proof of high school graduation (diploma).

The university also considers college transcripts with the standardized scores (SAT or ACT) and proof of English proficiency (TOEFL or IELTS or Duolingo).

International Graduate Admissions

Academic requirements: The requirements for graduate programs are the same as for domestic students and will be discussed in the SFC undergraduate admissions section.

Supporting documents: A colored copy of passport, VISA and a copy of 1-20 form.

Visa procedure: Applicants are required to submit a 1-20 form with the necessary information.

  • To obtain a 1-20 form applicant must view the checklist titled “documents required for a 1-20” in the official site of the university.
  • After the completion of the 1-20 form, SFC will send the original, signed 1-20 form in the applicants ISIS (International students information sheet).
  • Please note that if any applicant who had already enrolled as an F-1 student in that case applicant needs a 1-20 form from St. Francis College.

SFC Transfer Admissions

SFC is a transfer-friendly college, applicants who are not the permanent residence of the USA can also apply in SFC.

  • The applicant can apply online through the university’s portal.
  • Transfer applicants must submit the transcript receipts from all previously attended institutions as well as final secondary official transcripts translated in English and should be sent by the official institution directly.
  • University considered a catalog from the official institution of the applicants.
  • All the applicants must complete a minimum of 30 credits in residence before any undergraduate degree is conferred.
  • Applicants need 98 credits to claim a bachelor's degree and 32 for an associate’s degree.

SFC Undergraduates Admission

Academic requirements: Applicants must submit the evidence of successful high school completion, standardized test scores (SAT or ACT, or GPA) the average SAT or ACT score is 950 and 20 in fall 2019.

Applicant scores should directly be sent to SFC.

Please note that the SAT or ACT is optional for many undergraduate programs.

The SAT code is 2479, respectively.

  • The applicant who does not meet the above criteria should give the placement test administered by the St. Francis College.
  • The applicant needs to submit high school equivalent transcripts to the university, test scores of GED (general educational development) and a copy of the GED certificate.
  • The maximum GED score must be 2250 and a minimum score must be 450.
  • Conditional admissions are also accepted at St. Francis College.
