Salve Regina University International Admissions

Salve University provides 40 undergraduate, 13 graduate and 2 doctoral programs for students. International applicants have to send their documents for evaluation to World Education Service (WES) and Educational Credential Evaluators (ECE).

The admission process for international students is the same as of domestic applicants but they have to meet a few additional requirements like English proficiency, high GPA, bank statement.

Admission Requirements for International Students

  • All the academic records/transcripts from the previously attended institution(s).
    • Certified by the institution's office registrar.
    • Sent directly from the issuing institute a stamped and sealed envelope.
    • Official transcripts that are not in English must be accompanied along with a certified English translation.

For evaluation, international applicants should send their transcripts to World Education Service (WES) and Educational Credential Evaluators (ECE).

  • Must have a minimum GPA of 2.75(undergraduate) and 3.30(graduate and doctoral)

English Proficiency Test Score for International Students

International applicants whose native language is not English are required to submit proof of English proficiency. They can submit the TOEFL or IELTS scores to demonstrate English proficiency. The minimum required scores by the university are given below.

Visa Process for International Students

  • International applicants will be issued Form I-20 from the university
  • Applicants will need to provide the following documents to receive the Form I-20:
  • Complete the I-20 and pay the SEVIS I-901 fee 200$
  • Applicants then need to apply for the F-1 or J-1 visa. Submit the form and documentation

Students who want to apply for an F-1 student visa or who need a form I-20 should complete their application by July 1 (fall) and Nov. 1(spring)
