I opted to study at this college as it had various studios, shops, and labs that are spaces to develop my core studio skills. The skills including life drawing, color and design, digital painting, storytelling and dialogue, acting, and character animation are also a part of my course. State-of-the-art equipment, such as 24-inch Cintiq monitors, help me to hone my technical expertise in 3D animation, sound effects, layout and lighting, and post-production processes. I applied to the college with the help of a common application form.
At the heart of the curriculum, it is rigorous interdisciplinary. Following completing the course it will extend my artistic reach beyond the work of a standard animation studio. While studying the media, fine art, drawing, sculpture, acting, and storytelling I am able to develop my unique film grammar, including the way I build my frames, shots, scenes, and sequences. This kind of immersive, interdisciplinary practice not only shapes me into a well-rounded maker but also gives me an edge when I enter the industry.
