University of Texas Permian Basin accepts admission in the season of Fall and Spring. The university has an acceptance rate of 91% making the admission less selective. A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a scale of 4.0 is required for UG admissions. SAT or ACT scores are not required for undergraduate admissions.

University of Texas Permian Basin International Admissions

International applicants have to apply through the ApplyTexas application. They have to fulfil the following requirements to apply for admission -

Admission requirements -

  • Academic transcripts
    • Test scores and academic records should be sent to the Office of Admission no later than 60 days before the enrollment date.
    • Verification of credentials may also be required.
    • English translation is required for all documents and credentials in other languages
  • SAT/ACT/GRE/GMAT scores
  • Certification of Finances
  • Proof of English Proficiency
  • Student should have a continuous medical insurance policy compliant with the federal Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA).

GPA and transcripts are taken into consideration while reviewing the application. The university also reviews the application at an individual level. Individual Reviews take place for any student who does not meet the stated class rank and SAT/ACT to determine if the student is still eligible for admission. A portion of each freshman class will include students who have been admitted under this review process. So if the academic credentials are close to the stated requirements, the applicants can apply for admission.
