Stevenson University Admission Deadlines

The application for Graduate programs is open throughout the year. International applicants, however, are advised to apply earlier (at most one month before). The deadlines for Undergraduate courses (regular) are listed below.

Stevenson University, USA International Admissions

All the applicants with foreign nationality must obtain an F-1 or F-2 (visa of the dependant holding an F-1 visa) visa in order to enrol in Stevenson University. International Undergraduate applicants (freshmen) with no post-secondary education or those who did not complete any college education must produce the following documents,

  • Application form
  • Proof of English proficiency: IELTS or TOEFL. A score of 550 or above on the SAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing Test is also accepted instead of TOEFL/IELTS.
  • Official transcripts: Transcripts must be evaluated course-by-course from World Education Services (WES) at wes.org. GED is also accepted instead of Highschool transcript.
  • Official ACT or SAT scores sent directly from the College board from collegeboard.com
  • Recommendation letter: One teacher/ counselor recommendation letter, preferably on the format proposed by the University.
  • Essay on the topics given in the application.
  • Adults who enter after a long gap from High-school studies must produce a Statement of Purpose. Depending on the course selected, such applicants may have to attend an additional interview.
  • Copy of passport

Language Requirements for International Students

International applicants are required to produce one of the following test scores to prove their English language proficiency if they come from a place where English is not the native language. The minimum score requirement is listed below.

Visa process for international applicants

In order to receive an I-20 form and to complete the successful enrolment to the University, the following documents are necessary,

  • Passport Identification page and other documents
  • Official Bank Statements: The bank statement should contain minimum financial resources for the study period
  • Finance statement: This statement must provide the details of finance for the study year and the funding options for the same.
  • Enrollment deposit: A deposit of $300 should be remitted at the beginning.
  • SEVIS fee: Must be paid by accepted F-1 students.

Stevenson University Undergraduate Admissions

The University offers Undergraduate studies in a variety of disciplines including STEM subjects, Business and Management, Design, Literature, Medical science, etc.

The Admission committee mandates a strong Highschool academic background in order to be eligible to secure admission to Undergraduate courses.

Admission to Online Undergraduate courses needs a minimum GPA of 2.5 while ATB in Nursing requires 3.0 GPA. Besides these, a minimum of 17 academic units is necessary for the following area of subjects -

  • History/Social Studies: 3 credits
  • English: 4 credits
  • Mathematics: 3 credits (algebra I, geometry, and algebra II or advanced courses in Maths)
  • Science: 3 credits (at least two laboratory science courses, preferably chemistry or biology)
  • Electives: 2 credits
  • Foreign language: 2 credits (the same language as preferred for the degree)

The freshmen admission documents include the following,

  • A completed application
  • A writing sample
  • SAT/ ACT test scores
  • High school transcripts
  • At least one Recommendation letter from a school counselor or teacher
  • An interview for some courses

Stevenson University Graduate Admissions

Stevenson University offers graduate courses in the field of Business & Technology, Management, Cyber Forensics, Forensics Sciences, Healthcare Management and Nursing.

The admission committee will check applicants’ academic backgrounds as well as the suitability to the preferred course. Students are selected on the basis of Intellectual promise, Educational preparation, and personal character. Adult applicants who have not recently completed their previous studies may have to go through some additional application processes.

Stevenson University has a higher admission rate in the past years. The Undergraduate on-campus courses are more popular than online Graduate and Undergraduate courses. In Fall 2018, the reported applicant count was only around 4300, indicating that a higher chance of getting admission if the applicant academic credentials are above average (GPA 3.5 or better).
