Saint Leo offered me an excellent scholarship and when I went on a tour offered to waive my application fees! I applied to 2 colleges but I knew I wanted to go to a catholic university and Saint Leo and I just clicked. Another reason I chose this college was its proximity to my home, less than 50 miles. I wanted to be far enough to experience life on my own but close enough to where I could still come home.
I chose my program because it sets me up the best for my LSAT test coming up and it's highly accepted into law colleges. There are 3 primary political science professors here who have an array of experience from the law, working for the UN, United States foreign ambassadors, and much more. They offer a 3+ 3 program where you can get your bachelor's and then go up to law school and you'll have a law degree in 6 instead of 7 years!
The size of the school. I can walk through the school and know everyone I walk past. I wanted to have the one on one connection with my professors. This has really helped me to succeed. They also had a great study abroad program that I wanted to be a part of.
It's rigorous but I think that?s what college was designed to be. I like being challenged in my classes, it challenges me to think outside of the box and I think that?s what I need to prepare for the real world.
