    Course Curriculum :

Politics is a very new and unique course at UC Santa Cruz that is different from regular political science courses. I would encourage students to check out their website for the curriculum they follow. Thesis is optional, but highly encouraged you want to further study for masters or PhD.

I liked the research of my prospective advisor which was largely aligned with my research interests, and that was my primary reason of choosing this university.

    Course Curriculum :

The curriculum is very rigorous and relevant to real-world industry needs. It is also very in-depth in a way that prepares all students for carrying out graduate research.

Since the university is well-known for its Computer Science program, I did my research and applied. I was directed to an online portal to submit my application and paid an application fee of $125. I had a GPA of 3.5 in my bachelor's degree that strengthened my application.

    Course Curriculum :

Since I was intending to do a Ph.D. as well, I went for the MS thesis track program that had a duration of two years. I could easily see why this university was famous for its Computer Science program, the curriculum had the perfect combination of theoretical and practical knowledge. Unlike other fields, this field needs a strong theoretical base in order to ace in practical knowledge and I felt the curriculum did a good job at that.

I found out about this University while scrolling down Times Higher Education rankings. It was ranked 3rd in the world in Research Influence in the 2017 list. The application is done completely online and I had to pay an application fee of $140. For application, I had to go to the 'Application instructions' page and then select an admit Quarter/year and program. After that, I had to feed my biographical information and personal background. After completing my application I had to pay my application fees and then submit my application.

    Course Curriculum :

My program has five core modules namely- Data Structures, Computer Architecture, Logic Designs, Circuits and Software Systems. Emphasis is put on data management systems, distributed systems and logic programming. Programming languages are taught in detail. Computer and Network Security is considered important.

I initially wanted to be a computer science: video game design major and it is the only UC that offers it as a major. Location is also great because it is close to where I live so I get to save on housing.

    Course Curriculum :

It's alright. I like that they still kept the physics series in the computer engineering curriculum because last year they remove it from the computer science one and I was worried they would do the same force
