Since Childhood, while my friends here were busy designing aeronautical devices, binging into computer software and dreaming of becoming world-beating Doctors, I on the other hand always had a knack for studying the intricacies of World History like The Struggles faced by the Allied and Axis Powers, The Rise and Fall of Nazis and The Imminent Cold War between USSR and USA. Thus after completing my high school examinations with 95% marks in History, my desire to study History from a college abroad starting taking shape as I was brainstorming through a dozen colleges abroad. One day I found out about Marywood University and when I looked into the faculty cell, I was completely blown away by the array of exceptional talents in the History Department they possessed. I was also very impressed with the infrastructural facilities in the College and thus applied for it through the online portal. The application fee was $35.
The Course is very extensive and concrete, offering enhanced knowledge on subjects like Roots of Modern World, Global History of 20th Century, Introduction to Sociology, Basic Economics, American Government and Politics, Anthropology, Criminology and Social Sciences. The curriculum offers varied options to Students, thus developing their acumen in a variety of fields.
After passing my pre-grads or board examination from Pakistan, I had always looked up to completing my graduations from the United States of America, as any teenager from where I belong would dream on similar lines. Thus after days of browsing through the internet gathering information, I had found about Marywood University, an educational hub located in Scranton Pennsylvania. The infrastructural facilities and the reviews I had read on the Internet about it being an institution, emphasizing "man-making" education, had attracted me the most, and thus I had applied for the college. I was asked to pay $35 as the application fee, which was waived when I submitted the Marywood University application form online.
The program in the college is very concise and focuses majorly on polishing one's communication skills and enhancing one's business knowledge by imparting quality education and information on current economic structures and the legal systems bounding those structures. It is a 4 year course comprising of subjects like Business Law II, Corporate Financial Accounting, Intermediate Accounting I, Intermediate Accounting II, Cost Accounting, Federal Taxation, Auditing Principles and Procedures, Advanced Accounting, Taxation of Business Entities and Business Internship.
