Admission Requirements for International Students

  • Submission of official transcripts to the Office of Admissions.
  • Pay $1,000 enrollment deposit. (Refundable)
  • Submit the Residence Hall Preference form.
  • Pay the $140 housing deposit (refundable)
  • Proof of English proficiency for non-native English speakers.
  • Submit an academic and character reference.
  • Submit a copy of your immunization record.
  • Submit a photocopy of your current passport.

English Proficiency Tests are compulsory for international students who are non-native speakers of the English Language. Minimum score requirements for the acceptance tests are tabulated below:

Visa Process

International students who want to apply to a degree program at Harding University must obtain a Certificate of Eligibility (Form I-20) to enter and/or remain in the U.S. with an F-1 visa.


  • Completion of the official form.
  • Submission of original bank statement(s) on bank letterhead from your financial sponsor, issued no earlier than one year from the date you intend to begin your studies. Account balance(s) must be greater than or equal to $25,395.
  • Mail the form along with all additional financial documentation to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions
