UNIVERSITY OF NORTH CAROLINA - FACULTY AND CAMPUS

UNCW is very close to the beach and is one of the only universities with a clinical research program. The campus is very pretty and has pretty good academics as well. I did not want to leave the beach.

    Course Curriculum -

Prerequisites for science classes are impossible to get into, there?s maybe 6 chem classes a semester and most students are chem, bio, nursing, marine bio majors. The school requires a lot of general education classes and they're very boring and sometimes hard to get into.

    SCHOOL ON THE COAST

I chose it based on the location and the academics. I now regret that the out of state tuition is very much. I like the business program and being close to the beach though. The business school is good but there are programs I wish I?d been aware of before my senior year!

    Course Curriculum -

I find the structure to be decent. Again, this is something that will vary on a course by course basis, so there are certain courses where I appreciate the curriculum more than others. I do like that for all business majors you major in Business Admin and then your concentration would be like Marketing or Econ or Entrepreneurship, etc. I think this leads to much better-rounded business education. For example, even if you don't choose to account as your concentration, as a business student you?ll still have taken 2 accounting classes.
