Ohio Northern University Admission 2020-2021, Requirement, Deadline & Acceptance Rate


Ohio Northern University shares the data with the acceptance rate for the course cycle of 2018 enrollments. The total number of applicants received by the university in 2018 was 4,334 out of which only 2,960 students were selected.

Applicants, please note that the university operates admission on a rolling basis and applications for admission will be accepted once in a year. Applicants applying in the college of pharmacy are required to submit the application form before December 1. International must apply before May 15.

Ohio Northern University Transfer Students Admissions

Transfer applicants can apply online through the official website of the university. Applicants are required to submit final high school transcripts and current or final college transcripts with SAT or ACT scores to the university. International transfer students must provide a NACES affiliated evaluation member if transferring from a foreign university.

Please note that if any applicant who had already enrolled as an F-1 student in that case applicant needs a 1-20 form from ONU.

ONU Graduate Admissions

The university only provides two graduate programs M.Sc in accounting and masters in law.

Admission Requirements For M.Sc accounting

Applicants applying for MSA must visit the respective program page to apply.

As per the requirements, the university requires

  • A bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
  • Minimum overall undergraduate GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
  • A GMAT score of 500 ( GMAT will not be required for those who had scored an overall undergraduate GPA of 3.25)
  • Test scores of English language proficiency.

Admission Requirements For Law

Application Portal: Applicants applying for the LAW are required to register with LSAC and with CAS (credential assembly service) or can apply through ONU law’s online application.

Application Fee: applicants applying via LSAC must pay 45 USD processing fee and 190 USD CAS registering fee.

Academic Requirements: the admission committee considers cumulative undergraduate GPA scores, highest LSAT scores, transcripts, undergraduate coursework, and educational experience.

Supporting Documents: statement of interest, 3 letters of recommendation, personal statement, and resume.

Applicants, please note that the college of law has a rolling admissions cycle, August 1, 2019, is the last date to apply for fall 2019.
