Educational Development is a right of every individual, whether it is for women or men. The Marymount University of Virginia started with the purpose to educate women by the women themselves in 1950. However, it currently enrolls students of all genders. The university was founded by the Religious of the Sacred Heart of Mary (RSHM) Nuns. It was the first Catholic college to be established in Virginiathat developed a two-year college for women under Catholic priests and nuns. The college is Accredited with ACCU, CUWMA, and CIC.

NOTE: To apply at Marymount University, the student must keep the information in mind that LOR and Essays are subject to special requirements for supposing Scholarships, Campus-Employment or Grade issues.
