Extra-Curricular Activities

Marymount University has turned over its pages into a much broader and healthier way. The university was always adaptive to change and believed in revolution. Whether it was from starting a women’s university to supporting LGBTQ or choosing to convert the institution into a Co-ed within few years of establishment as a women's education college in colonial America. Within all these developments, we usually feel about the extra-curricular activities and events that an international student can also learn.

The university apart from focusing on the overall personality of its students also believes in giving sufficient time for them to relax.

Tips and Tricks :

  • Marymount is indeed a university that will loosen up your pockets if you are on a low budget. The best advice for international students is to avail opportunities like Scholarships which are for both need and merit-based.
  • If you are looking at ways to reduce your monthly expenditure. The fact that graduate students tend to live with shared apartments to minimize the monthly expenditure can be a helping idea.
  • Certain other international students who do not find any need to ask for scholarships but exposure can enroll themselves in programs like work-with-study that will help to understand the work-atmosphere in a new land.
  • When traveling, it is best to carry a copy of the passport and visa rather than the original documents. If you are willing to carry them, be sure, they are somewhere else than your carry bag or visible pockets.
