Ashland University is a private university located in Ohio that offers various programs for bachelors and masters. Established in 1878, which was formerly known as Ashland College and later renamed as Ashland University.
Ashland University started its functioning with less than 60 students and 8 staff members in its early stages. Today the number of courses offered is more than its initial students. This shows the university’s growth with time. University has 6 colleges for Arts & Science, Business & Economics, Education, Nursing & Health Science, Continuing education and Theological Seminary.

Ashland College has started with 28 acres of campus and now being a university it’s expanded up to 135 acres with over 6,600 students. With a multitude of International students taking admission each year, the campus provides residential facilities for them.
The location itself is very convenient for commuters, 10 minutes away from downtown and a few hours from Cleveland and Columbus. The campus is a drive away from some natural attractions like Niagara Falls, the Great Lakes, and the Atlantic Ocean.
Ashland offers a separate housing facility for graduate and undergraduate students over 22 years old. It offers various living options ranging from apartment-style, single, double and triple occupancy rooms. Every living has a student lead group called Hall council which will be dealing with facility upgrades.
With over 70 undergraduate courses to choose from, Ashland University offers courses in fields like business administration, corporate and strategic communication, leadership studies etc. The classroom size is small with an average of 16 students per class.

Application Deadline: A.U grants new admissions during fall, spring and summer. The deadlines to apply to be July 1st, November 15th, and March 15th respectively. If the application is delayed for submission it will be considered for a consecutive semester.
