Jaipur National University quotes tuition of ₹1,36,780 for BTech CSE, ₹78,600 for BBA and ₹82,700 for BCA, plus ₹2,000 caution money for each. The programme pages do not clearly give the billing period; the Admission Cell needs to confirm whether these payments are annual or semester-wise. Laboratory, library and hostel charges are extra where charged.

BBA and its named honours options share the ₹78,600 quotation, while BCom and its named honours options share ₹57,100. BCA is quoted at ₹82,700. The ₹2,000 caution payment is additional in each of these programme entries.

The law quotations also differ by level: ₹54,800 for LLB and ₹89,400 for LLM. The amounts are not described here as full-course totals because the university entries do not establish the fee period. The admission fee statement must specify the period covered by the payment.

Other Engineering Fees

Core branches and specialist engineering courses

Core branches and specialist engineering courses
Programme Tuition quotation Caution money
BTech Biotechnology / Biomedical Engineering ₹1,26,220 ₹2,000
BTech Food Technology ₹1,22,200 ₹2,000
BTech Mechanical / Electrical / Civil / ECE ₹1,09,100 ₹2,000
BTech CSE Robotic Process Automation ₹1,57,500 ₹2,000
MTech Chemical Engineering ₹71,000 ₹2,000

Within the other engineering courses, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil and ECE have a common tuition quotation. Biotechnology and Biomedical Engineering are ₹17,120 above that quotation. Food Technology is ₹13,100 above it. These differences compare the amounts shown by the university without assuming a yearly or semester payment pattern.

MTech Chemical Engineering has a ₹71,000 tuition quotation and ₹2,000 caution money. Its programme information also mentions separate laboratory and library charges. The amount of those additional charges is needed before a complete payment total can be given.

MBA, Agriculture and Physiotherapy Fee Quotations

The university's current programme pages provide additional tuition quotations for management, agriculture and physiotherapy. As with the earlier tables, the displayed entries do not clearly establish the billing period. The amounts below are therefore quoted as shown, without multiplying them into an annual or full-course total.

MBA, Agriculture and Physiotherapy Fee Quotations
Programme Duration stated on the current course page Tuition quotation
MBA Dual Specialisation 2 years ₹1,99,600
MBA Hospital and Healthcare Management 2 years ₹1,99,600
BSc Honours Agriculture 4 years ₹75,100
Bachelor of Physiotherapy 5 years, including internship ₹96,420

MBA fee comparison

The dual-specialisation MBA and Hospital and Healthcare Management pages show the same ₹1,99,600 tuition quotation. Both also state that laboratory and library charges are separate. The displayed tuition is consequently not enough to establish the complete amount collected when a student joins.

The university lists other management specialisations as well. A student considering one of those should obtain its own fee statement rather than use the dual-specialisation amount automatically. The statement needs to identify the programme, the period covered by each instalment and the additional charges.

Agriculture and physiotherapy costs

The Agriculture programme quotes ₹75,100 in tuition, while the BPT page quotes ₹96,420. Both refer to additional laboratory and library charges. These are different qualifications with different practical training requirements and durations.

The current BPT course entry describes four academic years and a one-year internship, although older FAQ text has a shorter internship description. The fee statement should specify whether any academic charge continues during internship and which duration applies to the admitted batch. The course quotation does not establish a complete five-year fee.

Caution Money and Additional Charges

Tuition and the refundable deposit

The ₹2,000 caution payment is separate from tuition. Several programme pages also charge laboratory and library fees separately. The admission demand gives these charges and their payment dates.

Hostel and mess are additional. The accommodation payment depends on the room and occupancy. A common room-and-mess fee has not been confirmed for these courses.

For BTech CSE, the quoted tuition and caution payment together add to ₹1,38,780. The same two-component calculation gives ₹80,600 for BBA and ₹84,700 for BCA. These sums cover only the named components, not a full year or the complete course.

A caution payment is recorded separately from tuition. Any refund or adjustment follows the university's rules for that deposit. Hostel, mess and laboratory or library payments should retain their separate amounts in the fee statement so that the tuition concession, if any, is applied to the correct component.

Jaipur National University Scholarships

Merit and progression support

Merit applicants need the qualifying marksheet. Students applying for progression support need records from their earlier course. The university confirms the award amount, fee concession and renewal conditions after assessment.

  • Submit the marksheets supporting the scholarship claim.
  • Provide previous course records for progression-based support.
  • Keep the scholarship approval with the admission fee statement.

The merit support described on the university's scholarship page is for JNU Jaipur students securing more than 75% in their courses. It also names programme toppers and scholarships funded by government agencies. A fixed percentage of tuition is not stated for all of these awards.

Progression support is for JNU Jaipur students moving from a diploma to an undergraduate programme or from an undergraduate to a postgraduate programme.

Research and need-based assistance

Research assistants and scholars can also be considered for special scholarships or fellowships. The university separately lists assistance for student projects and research.

Students who need financial help may be considered for freeships under the university's support provisions. Each form of assistance has its own approval. The amount of a merit award should not be assumed to apply equally to a research grant or a need-based concession.

Fee Payment

Online payment and education loans

The university provides an online fee-payment facility. The admission fee statement should identify the programme, payment period, tuition, caution money and any additional charges. A scholarship approval can then be matched to the concession applied in the student's account.

Education-loan assistance is also available through the university's banking arrangements. A loan pays fees through borrowed funds and remains repayable under the bank's terms. The lender determines the approval, repayment period and other conditions; it is separate from a scholarship awarded by the university.

JEST Scholarship for Undergraduate Courses

The JEST 2026 information offers undergraduate scholarships of up to 100%. This is a maximum benefit, not a uniform concession for everyone who takes the test. The university’s award confirms the percentage and the fee component covered.

A JEST award and the general merit or progression schemes should not be added together without the university’s approval. The final concession should be shown against the relevant fee demand. The 2026 announcement does not establish a new scholarship deadline for the next intake.

Registration, Hostel and Fee Adjustments

Registration and other academic charges

The university distinguishes tuition from registration and accommodation charges in its admission FAQ. Some course pages additionally mention laboratory and library payments. The first fee statement should list these amounts separately so that a student can see the academic instalment, the one-time payments and any services being used.

For example, the BTech CSE tuition quotation plus ₹2,000 caution money adds to ₹1,38,780, but that calculation does not include an unspecified laboratory, library or registration charge. Nor does it establish whether the quoted tuition is due once a year or once a semester. A complete instalment schedule is needed before deciding the overall affordability of the degree.

Hostel and mess payments

Hostel and mess belong to the residential account. The university provides hostel registration separately from its academic fee-payment facility. The room category, occupancy and period of accommodation should be stated in the residential demand, along with any deposit.

A student living with family will have a different budget from a hostel resident, even when both study the same course. Residential charges should therefore be added only for the accommodation actually selected. The current material does not establish a verified room-wise tariff, so the tuition quotations exclude a fixed hostel amount.

Scholarships, loans and the amount payable

An approved scholarship reduces the component specified in the award. An education loan instead finances a payment that remains repayable to the lender. A family may use both, but the scholarship approval and bank sanction serve different purposes and should be reflected separately in the funding plan.

Students continuing from a JNU diploma or undergraduate degree can ask about progression support when applying to the next qualification. The university's general FAQ refers to a first-year concession for eligible continuing students. The written approval is needed to establish the amount; the concession should not be extended to every later year without the scheme's terms.

Jaipur National University Fees FAQs

Are the listed tuition amounts full-course totals?

The course pages reviewed do not clearly identify the fee period. The figures have therefore been retained as tuition quotations. The Admission Cell needs to provide the semester or annual schedule before a reliable course total can be calculated.

Is the ₹2,000 caution payment the same as tuition?

No. The named programme entries show it separately. Any refund or adjustment depends on the university's deposit rules and settlement of dues; it should remain identifiable in the payment record.

Does the maximum JEST scholarship apply to every applicant?

No. The advertised benefit is up to 100% under the 2026 scheme. The award letter establishes the individual concession and the charge covered. It should not be assumed to waive hostel, mess or every other payment.
