DGMC Hosts Panel Discussion with eminent media personalities

The PGDM section of Deviprasad Goenka Management College of Media Studies organized a riveting panel discussion under their banner 'OFF THE RECORD!" The illustrious panel  consisted of Ms Alifiya Khan (Asst Editor - Indian Express), Ms Sakina Lakdawala (Studio Director - CNBC Awaaz), Ms Nivedita Basu (Director - House of Originals) and Mr Mustafa Rangwala (Group Creative Director - Ogilvy). Moderated by Mr Joyanto Mukherjee (Chief Officer - Marketing, Communication and External Affairs, DGMC), the panel spoke about the relevant topic 'Media as the 4th Pillar of Democracy')

The panel was voracious in its opinions about the state of media today and how it is shaping public opinion, both positive and negative. The session was attended by students of DGMC and also by media enthusiasts from outside the college. The session was very well received by the audience who bombarded the speakers with relevant questions and struck a chord with the topic instantly. It was equally well received by the staff and support members.The PGDM students of DGMC wrapped up the session amicably and kept the audience wanting for more.
