IIMT University Meerut Admission 2027: Application and Eligibility

IIMT University Meerut selects students through course eligibility, a personal interview and an assessment test. A valid CUET score is also accepted under its admission rules. Registration is ₹2,000. The portal currently invites applications for 2026–27; a separate 2027 closing date is awaited.

BTech Eligibility

Branches and school subjects

The university’s 2026 BTech guidance requires Physics and Mathematics with Chemistry, Biotechnology or Computer Science in Class 12 or equivalent. The course’s admission rules determine the minimum marks; the general guidance does not give one percentage for all branches.

Branches include CSE, AI and ML, Data Science, IT, ECE, Electrical, Mechanical and Civil Engineering. Selection includes merit assessment, any required entrance or counselling step and document verification.

The university offers both general CSE and specialist computing branches such as AI and ML and Data Science. The branch selected in the form should match the offer. Core engineering branches have different fees, so the course name matters to both selection and payment.

IIMT University BCA and MCA Admission

BCA after Class 12

The BCA programme requires Class 12 in any stream with at least 40%. The course lasts three years and is divided into six semesters. Its broad school-stream requirement differs from the Physics and Mathematics combination described for engineering.

The university also lists BCA in Cloud and Cyber Security and a Google Cloud specialisation. Their fee entries are separate from regular BCA. Applicants should select the intended course in the form and use the corresponding qualification and selection instructions, rather than assume that the regular course fee covers every specialist option.

MCA eligibility

The two-year MCA accepts the listed BCA, BSc, BCom or BA qualifications with at least 45%, with Mathematics at Class 12 or graduation level. A graduate from Commerce or Arts therefore needs to establish the Mathematics condition as well as the degree percentage.

The university's current fee schedule also lists MCA in AI and ML. This is a separately named option with a different tuition amount. The admission record should identify the exact programme, and the qualifying marksheets should show the subjects supporting the application.

IIMT University Management Admission

BBA and MBA requirements

The BBA course requires Class 12 with 40% and lasts three years. It is an undergraduate management option, while the two-year MBA requires a completed degree. The regular MBA page states a graduation minimum of 45%.

Students applying for MBA need the complete graduation record in addition to their school documents. The general admission process includes the university's assessment and interview instructions. An applicant should follow the assessment communicated for the programme rather than infer selection solely from meeting the graduation percentage.

Specialist MBA programmes

The university separately lists MBA in Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence, Hospital Administration, Agribusiness and Aviation Management. The current Data Analytics and AI page states graduation in any discipline with 40%; Aviation Management names a bachelor's degree from a recognised university. These entries demonstrate why one MBA minimum should not be applied automatically across every specialisation.

The chosen specialisation should appear in the application and offer. The current regular MBA minimum is the basis for the general MBA information here; older ordinances or a different specialisation's page should not replace the active programme instructions without confirmation.

IIMT University Pharmacy and Nursing Admission

BPharm eligibility

The four-year BPharm course requires Class 12 with PCM or PCB and at least 50%. The stated SC/ST minimum is 45%. Applicants must be 17 years old by December 31 of the admission year under the published course rule.

The subject combination and age condition are both relevant. A school result above 50% in a different stream does not establish pharmacy eligibility. Students claiming the relaxed marks requirement need the relevant category document as part of verification.

BSc Nursing eligibility

The BSc Nursing page requires Class 12 PCB with 45% and English as a core subject. It lists an age range of 17–30 years up to December 31. The course is four years long, and its admission instructions should be used for the current intake's selection arrangements.

Basic BSc Nursing, Post Basic BSc Nursing and MSc Nursing are separate entries in the university's course schedule. The Class 12 requirement above concerns the basic degree. Applicants with prior nursing training need the qualification-specific rules for the higher or Post Basic course.

Other Courses and Entry Levels

The 2026–27 course schedule includes science, commerce, law, agriculture, physiotherapy, medical laboratory technology, optometry, hospitality and humanities. These courses require the relevant school subjects or earlier degree. The general university selection process does not establish a single qualifying percentage for every professional programme.

The schedule also distinguishes three-year BTech lateral entry from four-year first-year admission and two-year diploma lateral entry from the regular three-year diploma. A student applying after an accepted diploma or earlier qualification should choose the correct entry level. The academic record and fee demand must both match that option.

Selection and CUET Scores

Academic screening and further assessment

The Admission Cell checks the applicant’s qualifications for the selected course. Shortlisted students attend a personal interview and assessment test. Students can submit a valid CUET score where accepted. PG and professional courses require their relevant degree and subjects.

Postgraduate and professional courses use their own earlier-degree requirements. Applicants should provide the qualification relevant to the selected programme. A general admission page cannot establish one common academic minimum for every university course.

Online Application

Registration and the applicant account

1. Register at the IIMT University application portal and verify the email address.
2. Choose the course and enter personal and academic details.
3. Upload documents and complete the application payment.
4. Attend the test or interview after shortlisting.
5. Pay the admission amount after selection and complete verification.

The email address remains the contact until enrolment and cannot be changed in the portal. The application payment is non-refundable. The university’s admission instructions give ₹2,000 as the registration amount.

After selection, the admission offer gives the payment and any pending document requirements. Applicants complete the payment through the permitted method and retain the acknowledgement. Final verification establishes that the qualifications entered in the form are correct.

Offline Application

The form and brochure are available at university reception. A completed downloaded form can also be sent with a bank draft or payment proof to the Admission Section, IIMT University, O Pocket, Ganga Nagar, Meerut 250001.

The instructions accept bank draft, NEFT, Paytm and other permitted online services. Applicants should keep a copy of the form and payment acknowledgement.

Documents Required

Students need Class 10 and Class 12 marksheets, identity proof and photographs. PG applicants also need degree records. CUET or other entrance results, category certificates and scholarship documents are required where relevant. Originals are checked before admission is confirmed.

The university checks originals before confirming admission. A final result or document that is still pending must be supplied by the offer's deadline. Applicants should keep the submitted copies and payment records together with the offer.

Fees After Selection

Annual charges and joining payments

For CSE, tuition and administration total ₹1,58,800. Adding ₹10,000 security and ₹2,000 registration gives ₹1,70,800 before hostel or other separate charges. The offer gives the instalment deadline.

For AI and ML, annual tuition is ₹15,000 above regular CSE, while the annual administrative charge is the same. Including ₹10,000 security and ₹2,000 registration gives a joining total of ₹1,85,800 before hostel or other separate charges.

BBA tuition and administration add to ₹79,550 annually. Adding ₹5,000 security and ₹2,000 registration gives ₹86,550 at joining. MBA has a ₹10,000 security amount, giving ₹1,33,300 with its annual tuition, administration and registration.

The distinction between annual and one-time charges matters for later years. Tuition and administration recur under the applicable fee schedule; security and registration should not be multiplied across every year. The offer gives the immediate instalment due.
