What is IIMC 2026 Spot Round?

The IIMC Spot Round is the final round of counselling held to fill seats left vacant after three regular allotment rounds. Only students not allotted a seat in IIMC’s main counselling rounds 1, 2, or 3, or whose earlier allotments were cancelled, are eligible for the Spot Round. Seat allotment in the Spot Round follows CUET-PG 2026 merit and the programme and campus preferences filled by students on the portal. This is typically the last opportunity for admission to IIMC’s PG Diploma programmes in the 2026-27 academic year.

Eligibility for IIMC 2026 Spot Round

Students must meet all of the following criteria to register for the IIMC 2026 Spot Round:

• Nationality: Indian nationals only
• Education: Graduation in any discipline from a recognised university
• Minimum Marks: 50% aggregate in graduation (45% for SC/ST/PwD students)
• Entrance Score: Valid CUET-PG 2026 score in the relevant subject
• Previous Rounds: Must not have been allotted or accepted a seat in IIMC’s main counselling rounds

How to Fill Programme Preferences in IIMC 2026 Spot Round

Follow these steps to complete choice filling before July 15, 2026:

1. Visit the official portal at iimc.admissions.nic.in and log in with your CUET-PG 2026 registration number and password.
2. Click on "Spot Round Registration" from the homepage or dashboard to begin.
3. Verify personal and academic details — confirm your name, date of birth, category, and graduation information as per your documents.
4. Pay the registration fee online via net banking, UPI, or debit/credit card. The fee is ₹1,500 for General/EWS students and ₹1,000 for SC/ST/OBC/PwD students.
5. Add programme choices — select from the available programmes and rank them in order of preference.
6. Select campus preferences for programmes available at multiple campuses (such as English Journalism and Hindi Journalism). Rank campuses in order. If left blank, IIMC Delhi assigns a campus via alphabetical roster.
