• Plan your travel in advance. DUAT 2026 has 11 test centres across Assam — if your centre is in another city, plan to arrive the previous night.
• Verify the exam centre address on your admit card and check the route before exam day.
• Do not leave the examination hall before the session ends unless permitted by the invigilator.
• Fill the OMR sheet carefully with a blue or black ballpoint pen. Any overwriting or use of correction fluid may invalidate your answer.
• Avoid random guessing. DUAT 2026 carries a penalty of 0.25 marks per wrong answer and 0.5 marks for Mathematics. Unanswered questions carry zero penalty.
• Do not write anything on the question booklet beyond what is instructed by the invigilator.
• Submit the OMR sheet to the invigilator before leaving the hall — retaining it is not permitted.
