Mukhya Mantri Jan Kalyan- Shiksha Protsahan Yojana (MMJKY Scholarship) falls under MP scholarship 2021-22. The scholarship is offered by the Department of Technical Education & Skill Development for the students belonging to various reserved categories. These categories include Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC), and Economically weaker sections.

Students residing in Madhya Pradesh can avail the scholarship after taking admission to any UG, PG, Polytechnic, Diploma, or ITI program. The scholarship waives off either the full amount of the course fee or some part of it.

MMJKY Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

Candidates seeking MMJKY Scholarship from Madhya Pradesh Government are required to check their eligibility from the below-mentioned list:

The applicant needs to be a resident of the Madhya Pradesh state to apply for the scholarship.
This scholarship is open for all those candidates who are considered unorganized sector workers by the Labour Department of Madhya Pradesh.
The students must have taken admission to any of the undergraduate, postgraduate, polytechnic, diploma, or ITI programs in order to avail of the benefits of the MMJKY Scholarship.
The Medical aspirants must have enrolled for MBBS/Dental course to a government or a private medical college through NEET and then only can avail the benefits of the MMJKY Scholarship.
And the Law aspirants must have taken admission in the National Law University through CLAT or have taken admission in a Law program of Delhi University before applying for the scholarship.
The Engineering aspirants who have qualified JEE Mains examination with a rank of up to 1,50,000 can apply for the scholarship.
Students who have secured admission at government colleges in any undergraduate or integrated postgraduate program or dual degree program are eligible for the scholarship.

MMJKY Scholarship Benefits

The students studying for the Engineering degree at a government/non-government college will receive full fees scholarship for the course.
The students studying in a private Engineering college will receive at least INR 1,50,000 or the total course fee (whichever is less).
Students studying for a medical degree program at a government or private medical college or dental college will receive the full tuition fee.
The students enrolling in a law degree program at National Law Universities in India will receive full course fees under this scheme.
The students pursuing an undergraduate or integrated postgraduate program from a recognized institution will receive full tuition fees.

How to Apply for MMJKY Scholarship?

Eligible candidates shall follow the following steps to apply for the MMJKY Scholarship:

Visit the official State MP Scholarship Portal 2.0 Login on http://scholarshipportal.mp.nic.in/Index.aspx
Next, scroll down the home page and go through the ‘Student Corner.
Click on the highlighted link- “Register Yourself.”
Create a Username & Password
Submit the page.
Open to the Online Schemes section on the MP Scholarship Portal Login page.
Next, select the MMJKY Scholarship.
If you have already registered, you have to click on the Login button with your valid credentials.
Fill in your details and then upload the documents according to the government scholarship scheme.
Submit the MP Scholarship Application Form and download it.
Take a printout of the form for future reference.
