Pratibha Kiran Yojana Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

Girl students seeking the Pratibha Kiran Yojana Scholarship shall fulfill the following eligibility criteria:

• Must be a permanent resident of Madhya Pradesh.
• Only girls from urban areas are eligible for this scheme.
• The girl child must have secured 60% or more marks in the 12th examination. 
• Must have been admitted to a college or university recognized by the Government.
• The girl student must belong to the below poverty line families.
• The applicant must belong to SC/ ST/ OBC/ General category.
• The girl student from the urban area has the Talent Ray Certificate.
• It is mandatory for the student to have a bonafide certificate of Madhya Pradesh.
• Applicable to those female students getting admission to graduate level.
• The male students are not eligible for this scheme.
• The taxpayers and government employees do not get the benefits under this scheme.

Pratibha Kiran Yojana Scholarship Benefits

• The scholarship offers financial support of INR 4000 to the female students of the Madhya Pradesh state.
• The scholarship benefits nearly 5000 girl students every year.
• Applicants can use this amount to get admission to various streams like medical, engineering, management, law, private sector, etc.
• This kind of benefit will be given to the female students who have completed the 12th grade and secured more than 60% from the secondary board of examination and the CBSE/ ICSE board.
• The girl students are given an incentive of INR 500 per month for ten months and INR 750 per month for technical and medical courses.
• Through this scheme, many backward class students are benefitting to improve their standard of education by completing graduation.
• This scheme has empowered the female students from different categories like SC /ST /OBC and also General category.

If the candidate fulfills the above eligibility criteria, then residents of Madhya Pradesh can apply for Pratibha Kiran Yojana by following the given steps:

1. The students must visit the official website of MP Scholarship Portal 2.0 @www.scholarshipportal.mp.nic.
2. On the homepage of the website, click on “Register Yourself”.
3. Once Registered login with the username and password
4. A new page appears, where you need to give the Aadhar card number and click on check and verify.
5. The application form will open, fill in all the required information.
6. After filling in the necessary information, upload the documents required and click on submit.
7. After completion of the application, a registration number will be sent to your mobile number, through this number you can check the status of the application from time to time.
8. The students can also track their application status by clicking the option Pratibha Kiran Yojana Application status and giving the registration number.
