Gaon Ki Beti Yojana 2021 Eligibility

The following are the eligibility requirements to avail the scholarship:

Passing 10+2 with minimum 60% of marks in aggregate
The students must belong to or be a resident of the rural areas of Madhya Pradesh
The applicant must be a girl student who has the Village daughter Certificate.
Caste certificate for the girl students belonging to the SC/ ST/ PH/ OBC categories
Girl Students belonging to the Below Poverty line Families are duly encouraged to apply for receiving the higher education
Income certificate which is not older than 3 years

Rs. 500 per month for 10 months, every year.

How to Apply for Gaon Ki Beti Yojana 2021?

Application Process

The application forms for Gaon ki beti Yojana are active throughout the year. The application procedure is completely online in order to ease the process of application. For this, the student must be registered on the portal. The students must follow the following steps for applying:

Step 1: Visit the MP scholarship portal first.

Step 2: Click on the student corner option

Step 3: Now click on the ‘register yourself’ option and fill in the required details

Step 4: Read all the details and instructions carefully and then accept them accordingly. Now the next page will occur where the student must do the E-KYC. You will need aadhar card number for this. The number registered for Aadhar will receive the One-time Password, which is supposed to be used for the KYC.

Step 5: Now the registration form page will open. Fill in the details required by the form, like Your Name, Father’s Name, Date of Birth, Category, Family income, etc.

Step 6: Now Click on ‘Check for Validation’

Step 7: You will receive an E-mail or SMS on the registered Email Address and Phone number, respectively, regarding the Login ID and Password details.

Step 8: Now login into the registered account on the state scholarship portal 2.0 and start filling the application form using your username and password.

Step 9: Now you are required to fill in all the details and upload the necessary original documents by scanning them.

Step 10: Check whether the given details are correct, there must not be any spelling mistake in the name of the student, strictly check the bank details provided by you and click on submit, once everything is right.

Step 11: After submitting the online application form, the student must lock the application.

Step 12: After Locking the document, the student will be able to print the document.

Step 13: Attach the copies of the essential documents to the application printout and submit it in your college.

The further processing of the documents and application is handled by the college after successfully submitting all the required Papers.

The student can check the application status online by visiting the official portal and logging into their accounts through the same username and password.

Ques. Why did my application for Gaon ki Beti Yojana get rejected?

Ans. The first and foremost reason the student will not receive the scholarship is that the income certificate provided by you is expired or is older, i.e.more than 3 years. If you leave the college after your First year and get admitted after a year or more, your application for the scholarship will be rejected. The most important thing is to fill in the correct details, check the spellings of the details provided by you, especially the bank details. The bank account must be your and yours only.

Ques. Can I track my application form status?

Ans. The State Scholarship portal 2.0 of Madhya Pradesh allows the students to track the activity of the application by simply logging into the accounts on the portal itself, with the provided User ID and Password.

Ques. What if I forget the password to the User ID for logging into my account?

Ans. If in any case, the student forgets her Password or the login ID, she can recover through the ‘Recover Password’ option on the official portal. There are two options that will allow you to change the password viz. the Traditional old criteria and new criteria. For the traditional criteria, one must fill in the category, name, DOB, and Phone number to reset the password. But, in case of New criteria, one must fill in the first name, Samagra ID, DOB and Father’s name to reset the password.
