Ashirwad Scholarship Eligibility
Those interested should ensure that they meet the basic qualifying requirements set forth by the Punjab State Government for the Ashirwad Post-Matric Scholarship 2020.
The Ashirwad Scholarship 2020 is open to Indian citizens who fall into the SC/ ST/ OBC categories.
Applicants must have completed Class 10th from a government or private school, as well as any accredited university or Punjab Board of Secondary Education.
When applying for the fellowship programme, the candidate must be under the age of 17.
The SC/ST candidate's household income must be less than 2.5 lakhs per year. For OBC candidates, it should not exceed one lakh per year.
This award is also open to students doing comparable or distance courses. Candidates seeking a master's degree in medicine are not permitted to practise throughout their studies. This award does not allow recipients to apply for additional scholarships.

Ashirwad Scholarship Benefits
Applicants for the Ashirwad Punjab scholarship will be eligible for the following benefits:
- Higher education funding: Candidates from the SC/ST/OBC categories will get grants to finish their post-matriculation studies, regardless of the stream.
- Study trips: They will be given a study tour worth 900 rupees for OBC applicants and 1600 rupees for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe students who are pursuing professional and technical degrees.
