    RMIT University International Students Admissions

    RMIT University offers admissions to students from all over the world if they meet the entry criteria - age criteria, ELP requirements, country and program specific academic requirements. International students can apply by themselves via the University Website or through an agent.

    Additionally, international students who are currently studying in Australian Year 12 or an International Baccalaureate in Australia or New Zealand need to apply through the VTAC portal (Victorian Tertiary Admissions Centre).

    English Proficiency Test Scores For International Students

    English Proficiency Tests are conducted to test the proficiency of English for students whose native or first language is not English or students who do not have a minimum of 4 years of education in English. Accepted tests and minimum score requirements are given below:

    NOTE: IELTS General test shall not be considered as an English Proficiency Test. The university strictly expects an IELTS Academic test if the applicant chooses to submit IELTS test scores.

    Visa Process For International Students

    International students must have a student or study visa to authorize their stay in foreign countries. In order to apply for an Australian Student Visa, applicants are required to be enrolled into an Australian university. The Australian Student Visa is known to be called Student Visa Subclass 500.

    The following are the important documents to be submitted, whether offline or online, in the initial stages of the visa process:
