- Few faculty are good and few are not good enough for the money we pay.
- A lot of available options to select liked courses
- No much academic pressure
Campus Life
- A lot of engaging events or activities happen in Uni.
Accommodation
- I lived with my relatives.
Likes
- Campus is right in the CBD so commuting is easy, the student mix is really diverse, lecturers bring actual industry experience, the facilities are solid, and the course is practical rather than just theory.
Dislikes
- Fees are on the higher side, group assignments can be hit or miss depending on your team, popular electives fill up too quickly, and parking around campus is a nightmare.
Campus Life
- UTS has one main campus near Central Station, super well-connected. Infrastructure is modern, and the new Tech Lab and Engineering building are great for project work. There are 200+ student clubs and societies covering everything from coding and robotics to cultural and sports clubs.
- The library is open almost 24/7 during exams and has good study spaces. Sports facilities include the UTS Fitness Centre with a gym, pool, and group classes. Plenty of cultural events, hackathons, networking nights, and career fairs happen throughout the semester. Research facilities are solid too, especially in engineering and AI.
Accommodation
- I'm staying in shared accommodation, found it through Facebook Marketplace and a few WhatsApp groups for Indian students in Sydney. Flatmates.com.au is also a popular site, and some people use Roomster or Domain. Telegram groups for Sydney students helped narrow things down quickly.
- My monthly rent is around AUD 1,200 to 1,400 for a shared room, which includes utilities, internet, and basic furniture. Closer to the city you'll easily pay AUD 1,500 to 2,000 for a shared room. UTS also has on-campus housing, but it's pricier and gets booked out fast.

- I loved the library and faculty
- All of my lecturers were industry experts positioned at high roles in their respective companies.
Campus Life
- I got to live in their student accommodation, which was right next to their wonderful campus. There are over 100s of different clubs that organise multiple activities throughout the semester.
- The library is world-class, and I would often study there late at night, or sometimes all night.
Accommodation
- I went to the university accomodation the details of which are available on the university website. Other ways can be through Scape accommodations or Unilodge, which are also private student accommodations.
- Finding a personal place to live can also be done through Facebook Marketplace or flatmates; however, be very careful of scams.

- During Covid, students who were stuck at their native places, were asked to attend online classes but were charged full tuition fees while they were not using any university infrastructure facilities.

• I think UTS has 3 campuses in Sydney, I studied in the main campus which is based in Broadway, Sydney (city). The other two are based in Botany and Moore Park( I might be wrong).
• UTS had all the facilities a student could think of, such as the Library, Sports Club, and medical facilities.
• UTS Oktoberfest, new students welcome and graduation ceremony are the major festivals. Every month they organise an event.
• UTS has an International Student Society , UTS Sports Club, Music Club etc.
Accommodation
• I opted for off-campus accommodation as finding an on-campus accommodation was very hard as well as expensive. I found accommodation through websites such as Gumtree, Flatmates and domain. Facebook and Whatsapp groups are also handy to find shared accommodation.
• I used to pay weekly rent around AU$150 which included electricity and gas bills for a shared accommodation in 2018.
• To get the right accommodation, you must thoroughly inspect the property by physically visiting it and check all the terms and conditions with the property owner.
• Most of the Indian Students stay in Western suburbs of Sydney.

There are many clubs and societies where students can participate. The events conducted are for the best networking opportunities. The library is one of the best facility in UTS.
Accommodation
I have taken student accommodations outside the university. The accommodations inside the city cost $300 per week and above and the cost at other suburbs vary between $200-250 per week.

- They have the 8th highest performing university in the world under 50 years old and <100 rank in employability.
Campus Life
There's always events happening in Uni which makes it very fun and fresh. There are many clubs in which students can join based on their interests. There's free WiFi for UTS students which is available and strong in any nook and corner of the campus. The UTS library has multiple floors and a plethora of books (both paperback and digital).
Accommodation
I don't live in UTS housing.
Campus Life
Campus Life is great. The campus is one the best in the entire Sydney equipped with modern infrastructure and best facilities. There are lot of events and extracurricular activities being organised weekly. There are more that 70+ clubs/ societies including sports, finance, cultural, gaming etc. which you can become part of. The Campus is located in the heart of the city which gives you easy access to all the well known places of the Sydney including Harbour Bridge, Opera House, Bondi Beach etc.
Accommodation
Accommodation facilities in Sydney depends upon the Suburb you choose to live in. If you want to live next to the campus the rates are comparatively high but you save the commute time whereas if you want to live far from University, you might get cheaper options but you have to commute to reach the University. UTS provides accomodations in the nearby area of the campus which has sharing and non sharing options. They are on first come first serve basis. The accommodation is always in great demand. Other private alternatives include Urbannest, Igloo and UniLodge which also provides great modern infrastructure and are located near to University area.
Campus Life
We do have access to online libraries. The clubs and sports aren't open yet. There are 165+ clubs. There are Mathematics Society, Science Society, Dance Society and many other societies. You can be a part of anything you want. There are also many programs like Global Leadership program.
Accommodation
For accommodation, school offers different lodges, it is not inside the campus. The accommodation is quite good but its a bit costly.
It is located in the heart of the city, they take a global approach to education that has innovation at its core. They align all the courses closely with industry needs, so what you learn will prepare you for your future career.
I chose this university because of its practical-oriented nature of education and the course subjects are designed well.
