Farhan Ali designs activity-based Class 6-8 science lessons at Collegedunia, drawing on 11 years in middle-school science content. Physics and earth science are where he's strongest — light, motion, weather, natural resources — and every NCERT chapter he writes is anchored to a simple experiment a student could actually try at home.
About the Author
Before this, he spent several years training government-school science teachers on low-cost classroom experiments through an education NGO's outreach programme. He's also a serious amateur astronomer — every full moon he sets up a small telescope for a viewing evening with neighbourhood kids — and a fairly competitive carrom player. On weekends he can often be found at Daryaganj's Sunday book market, hunting for old Soviet-era science-popularisation titles.
