    Carleton University International Students Admission

    Carleton University offers admission to International applicants strictly based on merit. International applicants have to satisfy certain additional requirements to be considered for admission at the university to complete their higher education in Canada.

    Financial Requirement for International Students?

    English Proficiency Score Requirements

    Applicants whose first language is not English, or who have not completed a previous degree from the university in a country where English is the first language are required to provide fluency in the English language. They can provide the score of the following English tests to study in Canada. The minimum score required to be considered for admission varies according to the level of the program opted.

    Carleton University Graduate Admissions

    Carleton offers more than 100 graduate programs to its students in a full-time and part-time mode of study. International applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree(4-years) or equivalent in a relevant field from a government-accredited institution. Applicants must also have a minimum average CGPA of “ B-” with “ B+” in the major subject.

    Carleton University Admission Decision

    Within five days of submitting the application, applicants will receive a confirmation email regarding the application from Carleton University. The mail will contain Carleton Application Number and several other details. This will enable them to access ‘Carleton Central’, where applicants can keep track of their application.

    After review, if all general and program-specific requirements are met by the applicants. The applicants will need to send Original Transcripts of their high school or post-secondary studies to the university campus. Candidates will be notified about all the required documents on Carleton Central. 

    After this, the applicants who are selected will be given admission offers. The next step is to accept the admission offer. Carleton University usually takes 1-2 weeks to review the application.     Ans. Carleton is a great university and its equivalent to Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, which is a very tough school and has hard subjects requiring a lot of focus on mathematics. Carleton must be the same as well so you should be a solid A student with a few B's but overall good. Your passion matters a lot more to stay and study there.
