Undergraduate applications to Dalhousie University are accepted for Early Admission and Regular Admission. Early Admission period is from October 15 to January 31. Regular Admission starts from February 1.

International students applying to Dalhousie University will require Study Permit and Temporary Resident Visas to be able to stay and study in Canada. The following documents should be submitted to obtain a Canadian Study Permit and Temporary Resident Visa.
Students may need to obtain an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA), sit for a personal interview or undergo a medical examination.
International students whose first language is not English are required to submit scores of tests like IELTS or TOEFL to meet the criteria of English Language Proficiency. Scores should be sent directly from the testing agency to the Office of the Registrar. The code for TOEFL is 0915.

Note: Students can also get conditional admission by completing the ESL Program at the university. Applicants who have studied their secondary levels at an English language institution or completed at least one year of the post-secondary course at an English language institution may not need to submit the Language Test scores.
Dalhousie University offers both degree and diploma programs as undergraduate courses. Application to the University for Undergraduate Admission can be made online or through a paper application. All applicants should have completed secondary school. International students should meet all English Language Proficiency criteria and get their Study Permits and Temporary Resident Visas to be eligible for studying in Canada. Admission is reviewed on the basis of academic performance in secondary school/college.

Students should confirm their admission as early as they can after receiving the acceptance letter. Post-admission, all students should pay a non-refundable fee of 200 CAD that guarantees their seats in the chosen programs. Admission Deposit should be paid by May 15 or by the date mentioned in the acceptance letter.
